Horse camping is great fun if you have the opportunity.  Camping does wonders for horses that are burnt out from running in circles in the arena.  Getting away from the barn makes them pay more attention to you because they don't know where they are and they rely on you to guide them safely.  Your horse will also learn to pay more attention to where they are walking and traveling, which will result in a better ride in the arena as well.
