Why not try it straight? All you describe is a Morgan.

Not to put my own horses down but the most amazing horse I ever knew was "Chief" a Morgan gelding owned by the late Emery Henderson of AZ. He could work cows like no other horse - and then was the unofficial champion at the Morgan Horse convention in Phoenix - years ago in an little private show.

Check out my website for some pictures of these guys. I might be in conflict with my association - but this IS a Morgan stud. And he is the sweetest horse you ever came across. I call him "Snort" because that is what he does at feeding - well that is his very own little protest that the girls will not let him get to the hay they get first.
