Default Help with Feeding Alfalfa Cubes Please!!

Hey,

I have a almost 20 year old Thuroghbred Gelding, He has horable teeth in the back, I am feeding him One falke of alfalfa morning and night, 6 Cups or Beet Pulp morning and night and 4 cups of senior feed, He can not Digest the alfalfa corectly, He almost was in full blown colic last week, I caught the colic in the begining and stoped it from prceding...

I wanna start him on soaked alfalfa pellets and mix it in with his grain/beet pulp, and also give him 1/2 a flake of alfalfa 2 times a day...

My question is How may cups of alfalfa cubes does it take to equil one flake??

He was starved when I got him, He is now up to an alright weight...I know he almost coliced from not being able to digest his feed corectly, and it caused a blockage.

Please help!!!!!
