since the last round up or thinning of horses in nevada I am considering trying my hand at a wild horse. Now I am no trainer but doing my "pre evaluation" I have heard pros and cons. But it seems there are alot more pro's than con's.

One pro being is that there is a more "bond" between the horse and the trainer/owner as the herd mentality is very strong still so that developes a more trusting relationship. I would think as long as you can establish your dominance and not let the animal own you from day one.

What has been everyones experience? Seeking all input.
