i enjoy the company of folks i know well, or more importantly horses i know well. i'm pretty lucky in that my horse will ride off just fine on his own. i usually have no problem riding alone. i enjoy the peace and quiet by myself. lately though i more often ride with at least one other person. my wife really prefers me to have company for saftey reasons. my brother and i ride together often and it's pretty nice. we can kinda sense when the other wants a little quiet time. is good to have comfortable silences with a close companion. there have been times that i rode with a crowd and really just prefer to be left alone and not have to listen to some of the noise. it's then taht i'll ask someone else there if the would like to take off with me. most of the time i'm not the only one there with just that in mind. if nobody else wants to go i'll just strike out on my own. i get to ride only once or twice a week, and i try not to let other people ruin it.

as far as terrain goes i enjoy it all. rolling hills mostly around here, but the river bottems can be challenging, and i like them both.
