I have learned that some are using pea gravel as stall bedding and in different areas of the farm to encourage stronger hoof development.
For a stall bedding, less is thrown out so it is more "permanent", it drains well to avoid your horse standing in wet spots.
I can't image anyone would want to lay on it though
Any thoughts?
