Thanks so much. I called the vet before I got any replies and she said exactly what you said. I have been cleaning the wound with betadine for 3 days now and it seems to be working good. The wound is slowly closing up and the oozing gets less and less each day. She does great on it so I'm not worried. Thanks for the advice.
