Well, I've been so involved in it, I have horses carrying the blood of the top stallion AND dam of the old APF organization, Cruzeiro Negro Caje(Col) and Morning Star (Cuban). Also, the blood of the horses Rosalie McWilliam(helped found that org, and also PFHA)imported from Puerto Rico!(upfront Batalla blood). A lot of people don’t realize that there was an org previous to PFHA, and that not all the people from that one joined PFHA right away, so that some of the TOP horses from that group (esp the #1s) aren’t recognized, when they should be.

Of course, I use a lot of the blood of my own 4time Top Ten Sire and best friend, Favorite que tall, and his Eblis bloodline. Also, a lot of Hilachas, similar in smartness, versatility, conformation, long thread in gait. Pistolero, also confo/mild disposition, Resorted III, Volare(best PR power rear, in my book), a few other que tal lines, etc.

Of course, I've been in the breed since PFHA was a baby, so I remember a lot of these horses firsthand. The original orientation in the US and focus of the org, was for the trail/family natural horse, and I've never really changed what type horse I've been breeding for.
