Preservation of Foundation/older bloodlines
I'm in!
I prefer the older bloodlines for gait and temperament, but I've really admired the Plebeyo & Petrolero bloodlines for their qualities, too. Our Plebeyo mare is a really smooth no-nonsense type mare that anyone can ride and has excellent conformation, too. The Peterolero bloodline that we owned was really SWEET and one of the best athletes I've seen; he could jump anything, would go anywhere, and had SO much endurance. Deannie, if you were reading this, he would have been a great h/j but was unpredictable and could spook at things unforeseen unseating some of the best riders with his extreme agility.
These are some of the bloodlines that we own and why:
...line-bred Batalla (7/8th PPR): smooth gait, ULTRA SWEET temperament, mass, muscle, level-headed.
...PPR Kofresi grand daughter x Tona la Negra: smoothest PF I've ever seen in my life, always in gait (fino to flying largo), self-collection/carriage, elegant mover, sweet, deep-chested, big nostrils, great endurance
...Coral LaCE direct offspring, line-bred, and crosses: sweet temperaments, willing nature, intelligent & perceptive, elegant movers, smooth gait, versatility, beautiful conformations (especially the line-bred colts!)
...Guamani/Singer: size, agility, sensitivity, endurance, smooth gait
...Cruzeiro Negro Caje: human-like personality, humorous, protective, loving, gentle/kind, beautiful movers, smooth, VERY sweet, sensitive, heart, endurance, substance/size
The only bloodline that I'd currently like to add is Favorite…Stella already wrote about him above!
