That question can be hard to answer. IT varies depending on what part of the country you are in. I am in Az and my farrier is one that the local referral equine hospital uses and recommends. He is a little pricey than other farriers but you get what you pay for.
I pay $55 for a trim all the way around and shoes just on the fronts. My horses don't wear rear shoes. I used to pay $100 for a horse that I had that wore eggbars. My best advice is call your Vet or a referral hospital and ask for a list of recommended farriers in your area.
