Hello !
Thanks for the information about QH and paints.
It's nice to take the time out.
I also wanted to ask you something: We have a horse condition in France that we call "Summer dermitis" . It is actually an allergy to some very small flies and the symptoms are itching and scratching until mane and hair fall off...Sometimes scratching is so intense, that it can lead to open wounds. Have you ever heard of that and would you know the english name of it?
Yes, cobs are great and beautiful horses. I love them, but there are originally from England, where it's wet and mild all year long.
I was thinking of importing cobs in the States before getting here but this heat just totally discouraged me...
My horses were already suffering from the heat in France, being sun burnt at the beginning of the summer and sweating like crazy under their beautiful but warn manes and feathers but what about here ? The temperatures are much higher....I'd be scared they wouldn't survive...!
I'm definitely thinking of getting 2 horses out of the indigenous breeds, much more adapted to the climate!!!!
Bye now
Sandra
