Soybean meal works well for me, I have found eggs to work well also. I have a close friend who owns Thoroughbreds and feeds beet pulp to help in weight gain. She mixes her Olive oil in with it and it works quite well for feeding. As far as the oil for the coat, she's got the shiniest and softest horses in town!
