I prefer the Arab stallion over to mare and also like the Anglo x Anglo cross.
Here is a photo of my girl who is by an Arabian stallion and out of a Thoroughbred mare.
She's a very in-your-pocket sort of horse...forever sneaking up on you in the paddock and poking her nose into whatever you are doing, looking for a pat and a bit of attention.
Visitors (especially non horsy ones) get a bit disconcerted sometimes when they meet 16hhs of horse that just wants to get up close for a hug
