I guess my stallion is one exception to the description of studs also. He is gentle, obedient and a truly amazing boy. A child can hand-breed him to a mare ( though that's not going to happen)- he is by Buzz Bar performance sire, by Three Bars (aqha hall of famer).

But, a stallion is a stallion and I have to remember still, to never turn my back on him. I believe the younger the better to start training.
