Hi there, just wanted to do an update on Banner. Al is well, we ended up putting a bumrope on him to stop the pullback.Awesome! I thought he did it thru pure fright but it seems he also was doing it because he was trying his luck. He is still nervous but much less than he was. Going on some awesome rides, thru dense bush etc.
was trying to ride banner english,you know, on the bit,collected etc but we have worked out he was broken western,loose rein etc and he really goes well that way.Just out of interest, the guy who is working with me breaks (or gentles) horses using the litchwark method, has anyone heard of it? I think it is a horse breaker from new zealand from about the 1960's.
