We have that outbreak over at our racetrack that has claimed two lives so far. Our track built up a quarantine barn for the sick horses and every horse in the track has to have their temperature checked two a day for now. Horses are still allowed to enter and leave the track until further notice. There is no known vaccine for this virus yet, all you can do is make sure you horses are up-to-date on their normal vaccines and check temperatures regularly. They do not show any signs of sickness other then temperature. The virus is also airborne and is entered thorough the nose of the horse and can be pasted from horse to horse by tack and people!
