I did the whole hunter/jumper thing for 10 years. I never really liked the doing the Hunters, it was too slow for me and too make sure everthing is perfect perfect perfect. I much perfered to do jumpers, just loved the speed and the tight turns. I guess that is how I ended up with the racehorses, the speed!!!
