I bought my first horse from a woman that my 4-H instructor knew, sadly I didn't realize it at the time that she had been abused. It took me 2-years to overcome every obstacle, but she was the best horse I have ever owned. Sadly, she had been barrel raced at 2 and her shoulder grew in straight, eventually leading to arthrits. She was sold to a older couple as a pasture horse, she passed away earlier this year.
