Help please. My daughter the little one riding the Arab mare in pic gallery, just qualified to ride @ Dressage 4 Kids national festival in July. Would like to get her an actual Dressage saddle, instead of her all-purpose.
PROBLEM- She is 3 1/2 feet tall, 18" legs and only 44lbs.
Really don't want to go the custom route @ $1,000 +, She can fit in a 14-15.5" seat, and must be leather, prefer a good quality used saddle, not the $200 package deals.
Any help appreciated

Ever checked ebay? I know you end up with alot in searches, but if you're careful, you can end up with some great deals on things that you never thought you'd find...ebay should have plenty of english saddles

I don't know if this will be an option for you, but if you can't find any good saddles for a reasonable price in time, try checking around your area for other horse riders. Maybe someone will also be a dressage person and can loan you a good saddle until you can buy your own. Unfortunately I had to do that when I got a decent sized rip in mine right before a show.

I'm on ebay daily, thats why I own 23 saddles, just not a Dressage saddle her size.
We went with her all purpose Courbette, she is very comfortable in it. It couldn't have been too bad, she is 10th in the NATION for her age division 7-11 yr olds.
