Howdy all! Where can a city slicker go for a real ranch, cattle driving experience? Any suggestions on ranches/locations?

How come you want a ranch/dude vacation? Some of the dude ranches I have visited are pretty much no fun, just ruffed up hotels.. find a good one that is authentic like when we were kids and helped out on friends ranches branding and mending fence and that would be the way to go.. get back to how it really is done.. I would like to learn more.. myself..
