Here is exactly what the add for the pony I'm trialing said.

“Dinky” is the pony kids dream about. This 13hh bay RP gelding can be ridden and handled by riders 2 years+. Super quiet out in the bush, in the show ring, or at home in the arena. Cantered on lunge rein with 2yo girl and shown in the open ring with 6 and 11 year olds. Excellent to shoe/catch/float/clip/wash. Doesn’t bite, bolt or charge.

Three beautiful paces although he has been to limited shows due to lack of space in the horsebox.

Dressage: Preliminary, training Novice at home, will go Elementary with right rider.

Showjumping/XC: Not much jumping experience, but has potential for eventing although gets a bit excited so needs a rider who knows what they’re doing

Showing: Many firsts and champions, Royal show on lead although isn’t quite sure about the hype at shows.

At home: Beautiful lesson/pleasure pony. Happy to spend hours out trail riding or schooling. Loves the beach and water.

Handling: Groomed, saddled, caught, washed all by kids 11 years and under. Ideal 1st lead rein pony or 2nd off lead pony.
