Hey guys

My friend's mum Deb, and one of the senior riders (Vicki) got in a massive fight today. Deb was out on GORGEOUS 15.1hh black mare Opera and Vicki was on not so gorgeous 14.3hh black mare QT.

So they were having an XC lesson and I was watching becuase my friend Angy and Dinky's owner Belle, were riding in it too. So here's the conversation.

(Deb and Opera canter over the last jump and pull up next to me)
"You'll have to ride Opera in a cross country lesson sometime" my instructor said.
"Oh, I don't know, she gets a bit out of control and fast out here" said Deb.
"What? A fast canter?" Vicki said "We used to gallop around XC courses and Opera would be brilliant"
"That's cause you'd ride her too hard and she'd be too exhausted to play up" Deb said.
"Look, she could go A grade with the right rider!" yelled Vicki.
"Oh, and I suppose you're the right rider?" snapped Deb.
"No, I was just saying that I was using her to her full potential!" said Vicki "Unlike you!" Then they both trotted back, bickering the whole time!

It was soooo awkward.

Men how come at the barns we just sit around and discuss things like why do the girls argue so much about these type of things.. ? Sorry you had to be near that .. Do you ever get in them?
My wife trains and she always brings home great stories.. and of course I have to be the sounding board. Its okay though it gives me a chuckle like this one..
