Wink Update!

Hey all!

Sorry I havent been online in like..a month? I've been working my butt off getting Jolly ready for May [when he will be ridden]. I also completed level 1 Parelli with my little booger & he's just amazing. I've also taken interest in a yearling mare that was once pastured with Jolly. My mom & I named her Mary, Mare + y. LOL!

I had some rough spots while working with Jolly. He started to turn his fat butt at me & anyone else willing to work him. I've been working along side Sylvia who has helped me get him under control for now. He takes to the bit just fine now- no fuss, same with a saddle. We started adding more pressure on him by getting up & standing in one stirrup. I've started using a surcingle [sp?] & at first it was a pain in the arse to use since I'm horse-gear-challenged. I've had him ponied with an older horse on a trail & he first thought it was a walk through hell, but now he loves it. I miss chatting with all of you!! I hope you all are doing well! ♥

Here's a short video I made for my year anver. of owning my first horse:

I love you all!

I'm so glad to hear you and Jolly are doing well!

There are going to be ups and downs, that's to be expected, but by taking things slow and easy you're gonna have an awesome horse!
