Talking Funny little story

Pointless post really, but it made me laugh!

Judy hurt herself this weekend so I fed the horses for her. Sunday evening I saved Jackson and his brother Cruiser until last because I had to do some rearranging. It was very cold and I didn't want them out in the weather. Once I had everyone else finished(all 13 of them) I grabbed Jack and led him into the indoor arena. He and his bro stay in there when it's nasty, Jack gets VERY pent up if he spends anytime in a stall and is darn unpleasant, lol.

Stuck Jack in the arena and went back out to get Cruiser. What I saw when I came around the corner about put me on the ground laughing. Just as I turned the corner w/Cruiser I saw Jack come STOMPING out of the arena door(I should've named him Houdini) w/his ears partly pinned and his head low, making a bee line for the barn(where the grain is), he even gave me a dirty look as he went by. Every part of his body said,"By God if she isn't gonna get me my dinner I'll get it my da*@+# self!! Hmmph!!!">:[ Everything is closed in so I knew he couldn't get out, I put Cruiser up and found Jack w/his entire head and neck in the grain bin.

That is very amusing! Did he get himself out of the gate or did you close it?

Oh no, he opened it himself! Sometimes I wonder where he keeps his thumbs hidden, cuz that's the only way he can do the things he manages to do!

That is interesting. You have a magician horse hehe. My neighbors have a mare (well a couple of them do it, but not as well as she) who, when finished with her grain, reaches over and unlatches her stall and then goes to each horse's stall down the barn and unlatches theirs also. That is if one or two haven't already done so, there are a few others that know the trick. The barn is in the pasture, so they're not really getting out but it is just funny how she goes and opens everyone elses to check for grain they have left and to let them out.

Reminds me of Merrylegs in Black Beauty...

Lol, well my little ninja got himself in a pickle to get to the grain bin, I had to back him about 10 feet because of the wheel barrow, shovels, etc... He's a clumsy red ninja
