Hello everyone!

I had so much go on this weekend, it was crazy. We went to the barn to talk to Donnie about how much training costs would be etc etc & then we wanted to see how much he's done so far. I was blown away. He first tied on ropes to set his head he then had Jolly lounging on voice commands, he would say "Hey..Hey Stop" & Jolly would stop & turn in. He tried to get most of Jolly's energy so he may take the first ride.

Jolly stood still allowing him to mount up but then tried to walk off once Donnie was seated. He then just pulled back the rein & said "Wait for me" & Jolly stopped & stood. He then kicked Jolly's flanks trying to get his bubble butt to walk on & he began to rear up. He reared about two - three times before he walked quietly around the round pin. He did great after the first fits, he stayed nice & calm with no problems. I was amazed & in a month, I will be the one on Jolly & taking directions from Donnie!

I was going to take video/pics, but I didnt want to leave for a second.

Congrats on how well your boy is doing. When I got Takoda, she had a nasty rearing habit. It took a year of intense groundwork, saddleing, and showmanship, to finally get her to respect humans. Now, five years later, she is good enough I put my brother's girlfriend (who is terrified of horses) on her, and we go trail riding.

I can't wait to see pictures!

I am very excited! I should have photos or hopefully video up by Sunday if not, then Monday :P

I was having such a hard time & my confidence went down the tubes. Since our trainer Donnie has been working with him & I, I've become so confident I don't even think twice about doing anything XD
