This evening a jury in Nebraska returned guilty verdicts on 145 out of 149 charges of animal abuse by Jason Meduna related to the starvation of mustangs on his 3-Strikes ranch.

BRIDGEPORT - At 9:10 p.m. Friday night, a jury found Jason Meduna guilty of 145 counts of cruel neglect of an animal resulting in serious injury, illness or death and innocent on 4 counts. Jason Meduna has been sentenced to 40-120 months at the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services. He was given credit for 2 days served. He will be eligible for parole after 20 months. In addition, for the next 30 years he can't own, possess, or reside with animals.
