Question what kind of animals do you have???

Hello again.. just wondering what kind of animals everyone has... we raise mainly paint/quarter horses, but have a menagerie of pets..

We have 1 stallion, 2 colts 4 mares and 1 gelding... Stallion is Tri-color paint, One of the colts is an exact duplicate of daddy and 1 is a sabino Tovero , mares are - bay and white, palomino and white, 1 bat quarter mare and 1 bay arabian mare, and the gelding we have is a Black and white Tobiano.

we also have 9 dogs, 1 cat, and 1 bunny. 1 hermit crab and had 4 turtles until they have become recently deceased. LOL.

join in.....

Beverly

Glad to see we aren't the only ones with a 'Noah's Ark' of animals! Recently, we have been cutting down on horses, though - since our daughter was born!

1 Stallion (ApHC)
2 Mares (ApHC)
1 Filly (looks just like daddy)
1 dog
4 cats
6 rabbits
4 ducks
5 chickens
3 sheep (Barbados Hair sheep)
2 pigs

I don't think I forgot anything!! Well, we do have a paint/Arab/something else gelding that is boarded here, too.

Wow, how do you guys feed all those critters? My list will grow as soon as I get some fence and a barn built. I plan on getting some rabbits, chickens and horses.
The property we just bought has nothing on it but a house.
Here's my little ol' list.
3 dogs--border collie, wolfhound, red healer/ACD
1 kitten

The house is bigger so I have room to expand. If my husband would let me I would take in all kinds of unwanted animals.

We have down sized over the past few years some sold some of natural causes.

1 palomino paint mare (hopefully in foal to a Fresian, for next spring)
1 half Arab, half quarter horse (26 yrs.)
1 appendix bred buckskin (retired due to injury,)

3 pygmy goats

2 cats (used to be neighbors but their kids where mean to them)
1 heeler/border collie mix
1 American Bulldog Pup (8 months and 80lbs)

1 box turtle

2 crazy boys 3 and 5 years old
1 hard working husband

Well that's the current list, It's nice to be on the small side for a change.
