It might help to know how old she is and how tall she is as pictures are not always the best gauge of things. She is a lovely Palomino, LOL... not exactly a breed but as close as I can guess without additional info.

Also, let us know if the image distorts anything. Her head seems very large in one photo, but I know a shot at that angle often gives the "BIG HEAD" look. So giving us a few verbal details about her confirmation and movement might help too.

Hi Cheryl, yes his head does look a little large in the last picture, the middle pic is a better actual pose.He is 10yrs. old ,right at 15hhs.I have had him almost a yr. and he has only been ridden the first day I brought him home. Not have been around horses for thirty some yrs,I really have a job on my hands. He is a proud cut gelding making matters worse.I was told her was a QH but my farrier said he thought he had more features of a Tenn.Walker.I was just curious. To me he is just my big baby.lol

The first two pictures of him standing remind me ALOT of a TWH...but the one of him running reminds me very much of a quarter horse. At least his conformation does. The mane looks like it's a tiny bit unusually long for a 100% Quarter horse though... Do you think he might be a cross? Whether or not he's a walking horse would have alot to do with his movement and if he "gaits." Does he bob his head when he walks faster? And does he canter like a non-gaited horse? He is VERRYY gorgeous!!! Do you have anymore pictures of him moving?

He looks like a little of both. Geldings can keep stallion charateristics even after castration, and it doesn't mean they are proud cut. It is the kind of term that is misunderstood, and often used when a gelding retains some of his stallion behaviors. Good luck with him.
