She is so lazy, she used to be a trail horse, so to get her to even trot is a chore, LOL. She is very dirty in that pic, she just loves the water so when i rains she stands out in it and then rolls, it is impossible to keep her clean.

If she is part Arab, she may be crossed with a Tennessee Walking Horse, a Spotted Saddle Horse or some such close to since both the TWH and the Saddle horses can come with the Pinto markings such as she has. That's probably why they told you she was Arab/"paint," they are partly right, but more appropriately should be called "Pinto" (that is only color, whereas "Paint" has to have Quarter horse or Thoroughbred blood).

I wish you had a video of her walking and trotting! I have had several crossbred gaited horses and their movement is one of a kind.
She is so beautiful whatever she is. I love Overos, especially black/white Overos. My stallion is a black Overo also.

I am going to be out with her this weekend, I will try to get some videos of her, i will post them probably sunday or monday depending on when we get back from our trip. She is awfully lazy but I will try to get some trotting in on her.

I really like the Arabs and usually have at least 1 in my barn at all times.
I'm in Pa and very lucky enough to have some very nice breeders in my area Omni Arabians does both Egyptian and Polish and Imperial Egyptian Stud does just Egyptian and they still have the dished heads.
This is one of my lesson horses a Quarab, he really looks alot like your guy.

Ok here are the pics and videos, sorry she was fighting me the whole way so they are not very good. She was a trail horse so she doesn't know what to do with herself if she isn't behind another horse.

I love arabians! I used to do endurance riding. I have owned two, a chestnut with flaxen mane and tail named Rosey and a grey named Stormy
