Default Arabians

Who likes Arabian horses? This in one of my favorite breeds, I have many Arabian pictures and I have 2 Arab model horses. I have ridden Arabs and they are very smooth even at a trot , I have ridden English and Western on these horses, I love their long flowing manes and tails.
They are very good endurance horses even for their size, There are some amazing facts ie they have a dish face, 17 pair of ribs instead of 18, they have a high tail carriage and have a shorter back than most other breed Is one of the oldest breeds., I like the Dapple Grey andf the Chestnut colour .

Arabs are, IMO, one of the most beautiful breeds. Unfortunately they do have a stereotype because of the things people do to them when they are shown in hand. I have only ridden a half arab and she was the cutest little fire ball I've ever seen!

Some of the bloodlines have recently been breeding to exaggerate the small muzzle and dished face even more and I am not impressed with the results. I am looking for a pic of what I mean.
This is Simeon Sadik, a retired Arabian Stallion(Egyptian) owned by Simeon Stud. He is widely recognized as a sire and well known for his extreme "typiness". Check out that parrot mouth in the profile shot!
SIMEON SADIK
I just don't like that look. This however, is much more my style!
topol
Topol is by far my fave Russian Stud. I'll take one of these please!

Wow Jen he really does have an unattractive nose. I do like the rest of his body but the muzzle is very very ugly and strangely large for his head. I do love the second horse. He is not as refined as some but that is something I would not mind about anyway. He looks as if he would be a more relaxed, less "nutty" minded one of the two.

Dimmers_double, I love your boy, he is gorgeous.

Arabians are very beautiful! I actually never thought
about arabians much, but now I like them more than
before.

SIMEON SADIK has very bad face conformation, poor thing.
Topol looks wonderful, he doesn't have a bad nose.

dimmers_double, your arabian is such a cutie!! Khlassi
has a cute petite figure, well, it looks like she does!
And she has a very bold chestnut coat!

I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Awww thanks for sharing! I love both your horses
Dusty looks VERY much like she is crossed with something gaited as I see her gaited hindquarters and legs' stance. She is Arabian and...?

You know I don't know, she might be, I was just told that she was a paint/arab cross. But she has go tons of hair, her mane looks like it would be on a peruvian paso and her coat and hooves looks like she might be mustang. She doesn't gait, so if she is it isn't very much. She is so lazy, she used to be a trail horse, so to get her to even trot is a chore, LOL. She is very dirty in that pic, she just loves the water so when i rains she stands out in it and then rolls, it is impossible to keep her clean.

Has anyone noticed that the dished face of the arabian is being phased out? I miss that, i have a reg purebred arabian and he as the dished face, only thing is he has a fat nose, LOL. It just seems the more pics that I look at that are top of the line arabs, don't even look like arabs anymore.
