Default i need some help

ok my 20yr old mare, we resuced her shes soo skinny, but she has a huge belly! she was a brood mare for a long time. but skinny with a big belly does not look right? is she pregent? idk some help please our vet is coming out on friday, but I wanna know sooner please help?

I have heard if horses are mal-nurished and don't
eat much or at all then they can get bloated stomachs.
Just like children in africa, they are mal-nurished and
have bloated stomachs, same applies to horses, so
that is what I have heared.

But the chance of pregnancy isn't low, you mare
could possibly be pregnant. But i'm not sure what
age broodmares could get to based on their
biological clock.

I would have your vet check her out but worms can cause a bloated stomach look.
