Hey guys, could do with a bit of a hand getting an idea of costs and the tests may mare will need before and after covering, I'm fine with knowledge and experience when baby is on the floor but I'm currently in the dark with the rough costs and how long the testing periods are etc

We are planning to go with the AI route and hopefully have my mare in foal this season, if it is any I am in Essex, England

Any information appreciated

im in the states but i paid 1000 for AI and semen and then just turned her out for a year. LTcH or AQHA Breeder can probably give you a better idea

It can get pricey, especially if they dont take on the first try!
