American Saddlebreds
there are many words that describe them
they have such elgant animated gaits and the more you get them cranked up, the more elegeant theyll be , they will always give you a challn ege and they will give u their opinon if you disagree wit them and they are so much fun to show, they can get so cranked and their so much fun to show and ride

Wink Favorite breeds.

When I was youger I preferred Paints, quarter horses arabians and mules! Actually, I really like all breeds but...now that I am older I need
a nice smooth ride in order to keep riding at all. So, now I ride and breed Peruvian horses and Paso Finos. Mmm, now I can continue to ride
for hours at a time!! Joni in Loon Lake, WA

I've always been into Walking Horses and Spoted Saddle Horses. I'm not a big fan of the "big lick horses" I prefer barefoot or keg shod gaits though

I absolutely love Friesians and Quarter horses. Quarter horses have so many uses and are stunning especially the big boned and muscular ones and Friesians are just gorgeous and have great personalities anyways.

The Carolina Marsh Tacky is a colonial spanish horse like Wakiya, though Wakiya's bloodlines come from mostly native american tribes. So Colonial Spanish Horses are my favorite they're 100% spanish blood. The same horses brought over first to America and contributed so much to this country.

Leased a quarterhorse/morgan cross awhile back. Would have bought him if I could.
I used to work on a thoroughbred breeding farm in the eighties when I was a young teenager....there was NO WAY I would sit on any of those horses. They were just too flighty, too wild....to spooky.
So...I guess for me I would stick to the morgan/quarter horse cross.
When it comes down to it....I think all breeds are beautiful in thier own ways.
