Google or yahoo.com are often good routes to take, or you may try contacting the Arabian Horse Registry and seeing if they know any way of tracing him. If he's registered, there should be records of who owns this horse now. The question will be how much information they are able and willing to disclose but, quite often, you can use a method of search in that fashion. Was he freeze-branded, by chance? That may help too, along with any other identifications you may have had. We traced the history of our 24 year old stallion back that way too....talk about an interesting journey! It's amazing, some of the things they've done.
