Default Possible Crosses

I have a quarter horse that I just got and I kind of would like to breed her in the future. Just wondering about some good crosses? Thought about a paint because I love the color. Any suggestions?

I agree with the Paint, I have a paint stallion and both paint and QH mares adn I love my paint QH cross. If you want color make sure you find a good homozygous Paint stallion.

I love the babies! I have 1-3 at least a year. I put a webcam in my barn so I can keep an eye on my mares when there close and share the birth live with friends on the net! Where are you located? If you breed your mare and have any questions or need help I'll be happy help if I can.
Here is a picture of one of my fillies born this year, she is 2 months old now and I just love her to death, she is out of my sorrel QH mare and My bay Tobiano stallion.Sorry if the pics are to big, I stil can't figure out the pic thing.

She's very nice. I just think a horse wll bond better with you if you raise it yourself. I'm sure it will be alot of work but it will be worth it.

I agree it's alot of work raising a foal but it's also alot of work going out and ending up buying a horse with a past you know nothing about and having to work harder to correct all the bad habits and handling they've had from someone else. So go for it! There's alot of good information to be found and lots of good people out thre willling to lend a hand.

I have to say Paints are the best. Paint any horse and it looks better.

I've seen many wonderful QH crosses, but my favorite is to an Andalusian to get an Azteca!
