Default In Memory of Warrior

I'm going to tell my story about my horse named Warrior. So a few years ago I was at a trail riding camp and on the last day right before the final day games, my horse I'd been riding the whole time lost a shoe. I was worried about riding a different horse than I was used to for the games but soon I was having the ride of my life. They put me on a tiny, crazy mixed breed horse ( proabably mostly Quarter Horse but I swear he could run as fast as a Thoroughbred)that no one else would dare to ride. They said he was about 15 years old but he acted like he was ten years younger. Anyway, I had a great time on him trying to keep him from running away from me while trying to play red light, green light with a horse who didn't want to stop. Well, of course I fell in love with him and I got him for a few weeks later. I spent all my time riding him and trying to tire him out so maybe we could walk a little bit once in a while. I was having so much fun with him when one morning I woke up and he was colicing. He had been all night and we immediately had to take him to a horse hospital. They hooked him upt to IV and gave him as much pain meds as they could. He didn't respond to them at all and he was way to old for the surgery. (The vet siad he was atleast 25 years old.) So we ended up having to put him down. He went quietly with his head in my lap. Even though I only had him 2 months he holds a special place in my heart and will be remembered forever. Thanks for listening! I love you Warrior!
