Default Caution Arabian Stud Scam

Now this is only a preliminary caution and since most people are already done with their breeding choices this should be that big of a deal. But there is a lady selling breeding from an arabian stallion that was killed by another horse because they were fighting over food!

Some of the horses are rescued. All I know from a friend is that the lady is out of Bend Oregon and last name wood. She doesn't have him listed on this site. But I forgot his full name. He is a Black Arabian though. I will post more when My friend forwards and confirms the information.

Just a heads up.

Yikes! That's downright scary....first of all, why hasn't someone reported this woman to Animal Control / Animal Cruelty, if the horses are literally battling for food?? If this story is true, then I would think that the animal welfare people would be all over it. Definately would be interested in getting the details on this, so that it could be looked into further.

A common practice is artificial insemination, which may explain how they can still sell "breedings" to a stallion that is deceased. I would not want to give money to someone who treated a horse so cruelly, however.
