These pics were taken in april, and since then his withers have come up making him much less downhill,so i think that is just a growth thing.Whats your opinion of him?

Wow, he's super for a yearling! Very well put together. You're right, his withers don't line up exactly with that butt, out to just be a growth thing then. Some of mine look like that this year... it's odd how youngins different body parts grow faster than other parts, then they have to catch up on down the road.

In a couple of the photos he's got a slight goose rump, of course he could grow right out of that too.

In the middle photo he is standing a bit camped out, making his fibula look super long and his hocks crooked, this is something ( I don't know if he stands this way all the time, the other photos don't show it) that out to become unnoticeable when he finishes growing and filling out. Back legs in that photo just look really odd overall.

I love how his knees and hocks are relatively even in height, neck ties in well to shoulder, and he's even got a little cresty neck (or maybe that's the way his mane is lying). Some judges don't like a high crest that I know- but I very much love that look. Beautiful lil' head.

He is super gorgeous, I love his blue eyes! Do you show in APHA approved shows/county/state ?

Oh by the way- checked out the video. He sure has some big trot for his size. And I love the little buck jumps! So cute...
I can't remember where you posted, but you mentioned about his color pattern and that he is registered as a Tobiano and that you were thinking of changing to Tovero. He's very close in pattern, but the blue eyes, white face, black butt with the mixed white tail, and the odd little swirly white markings under his jaw and on his front legs/chest are some un-Tobiano characteristics, just if you wanted my opinion- yes I would call him a Tovero, though I don't think it will hurt one bit that he is registered as a Tobiano.
