I am new to eventing okay very green, I have not much knowledge in it. But it catches my eye everytime I get to catch something about it.

I am not bagging on it and not starting anything here. But it seems there are an awfull lot of equine accidents out there. And when you get hurt in the course you get really hurt?

Again I am not bagging I just want to understand. As you all know I am more of an comedian than a serious dude but this has my attention.

Any eloquent explanation would be helpfull. And this is a pretty cool forum so if this starts a flame war please delete it.
