lol, No there louder ha ha ha , that means you get to come do foal watch with me again this year!
Talk about memories lol
Gin stayed with me one night in the barn when my mare was ready to foal, we were trying to be quiet as not to disturb the mare so we whisperd. Go figure! Every freaking time I tried to say something my darned rooster would crow! Buy the middle of the night that darned rooster had a death wish and rocks were flying, needless to say the mare didn't foal lol
wasn't funny that night and you don't want to see me on my last nerve lol but it sure is funny to look back now.

woohoo I just got my first set of peacock eggs and I'm getting ready to put them in the incubator. Anyione else have peacocks?
Cathy C
We have 2 pair of peafowl and have had very little success with incubating their eggs. There seems to be opposing info on the internet as to the heat setting and none of our chicks that were trying to hatch made it more than 12 hours. If you have success please let me know what worked for you.

Sorry it hasn't worked out for you. I'm really hoping these hatch, I've hatched out chicken eggs but this is my first time trying the peafowl. I have my incubator set at 99 and hunidity at 55-60. I have an auto turner but was told to turn them twice a day anyways so thats what I am doing , I figure it can't hurt. I'll let you know if it goes well or not.

How fun! I have always thought about this, but never got into it. Good luck to you and let me know how it goes because I am still thinking about trying it.
Well Darn it none of my eggs made it. Guess I'll have more luck buying chicks. I'll try again when I get adult hens laying eggs. I realy like the peacocks I have now but I'd really like to have more. I'm in contacted with a breeder now,.
Cathy
Aww! Sorry none of them made it. That would have been neat. I've never had peacocks. The only thing I've ever hatched in an incubator is chickens & turkeys.
