Newfies!! big, huggable, lovable bears! they are for the most part calm, and will enjoy being a 'dog rug'. Yes-lots of hair, but well worth it!

I have 2 white German Shepherds. They're VERY smart, protective, and lovable!! As a child I had a Pomeranian, and she was the most faithful little thing you'd ever see, I had to have her put to sleep 3 yrs ago. I also had a Chow/Husky that was wonderful.

We have two Dalmations. I love them both, they are each very unique in their behavior and temperament.

I think when they cross the bridge, they are 11 and 13 years old, we will most likely look for a small "mutt" type dog. Dalmations are great but next time round it will be a small dog for sure.

I like...um...Aussies, Heelers, Cattahoulas, and a few others I can't think of... but my dream dog would be 1/2 Aussie, 1/4German shepard and 1/4 Wolf. I've had a timber wolf hybrid (with husky)-

My favorite breed of dog is Heinz 57. Right now I have a 1/2 German Shepherd and a1/2 German Shorthair pointer. She was an abused dog when we got her 9 years ago and has turned into a wonderful pet. She does have a fear of people however. We've worked with her and she never leaves us. She is wonderful

I used to have a dog - a mongrel, Monica. She was adorable.

Which, of course, would indicate that I have a certain weakness for mongrels. But they're so unique, and cute, and adorable. And, often, colourful :P

Beagles are really sweet, too, as are labradors and golden retrievers.

Huskies are wonderful, along with German shepherds. I think that would be my list of favourites

Oh, and let's not forget dalmations.
