No I know of alot of times that the horse has kicked the goat around until dead. A horse is a large animal compaired to a goat. If you have a goat get it a goat friend,If you have a horse get another horse.

My sister's horse is pastured with several Saanen goats. None are horned. All pasture well together, though the goats tend to be a little more playful than the horse at times.

We have 3 pygmy goats (have horns) out with our 5 horses and never had a problem with either hurting each other on purpose. The goats do have an area they can go to get away from the horses when they start running around but normally they are out there with them jumping all over also. They all eat together and we have one goat and horse that actually play with each other the goat rears up to butt the horse and the horse pushes her with his nose. The goat will also wash the horses legs very funny
Over all the years they have been together a goat has only been stepped on once accidentally.

In our barn yard we had 2 horses and many goats as well as a long list of other animals that all got along and never injured each other. Our one pony bonded with a goat better than the horses.

There isnt any reason why it would be bad for either of them unless you have a really wild horse.
