Default Favorite breed of dog?

I was just wondering what everyone's favorite breed of dog is. I happen to love Boxers, American Pit Bull Terriers & Chihuahuas.

Actually we always had Australian Shepherds and Border Collies (or combinations there of) at the ranch where I had my horses. I've been partial to that type of herding dog ever since. Where I live now I cannot or rather should not have a dog. No place for them to roam and herding cats in the house is not a good thing!

OH but stalking and herding cats in an apartment, so much fun.

I've only had 1 but my Doberman was very special, and will probably be my next.

A lot of my dogs come from the pound, many diferent breeds or sometimes no particular breed, but I've loved and enjoyed them all.

I was raised with Dachshunds as a child, Had Austrialian cattle dogs (Blues & Reds)love them but got tired of the hair everywhere, and now American bulldogs (my hubbys favorite) and quickly becoming mine. We are actually looking at another this weekend to bring home.

Stormy,

The American bulldog breed is amazing, we will be going on a road trip in a couple of weeks to go and see a litter of pups, which we will probably be purchasing a female. Can't wait.

Beagles! I've always had them and currently have two. Also, my dad has English Setters, and I like their temperaments as well.

lhasa apso's

:3

I had one since I was four & he was a gaurdian so to speak..
He was very loyal to our family & our's only- if someone came & grabbed me or my brother...BOOM Gizmo was charging at them. Oh goodness, they are SMART little dogs...We never had to guess what he wanted he'd basically tell us lol if he was hungry he'd pick up his dog dish and walk it over to us and set it down on our feet lol. We're getting another one sometime next month, our family are Lhasa lovers haha

(r.i.p- Gizmo ♥)

Newfies!! big, huggable, lovable bears! they are for the most part calm, and will enjoy being a 'dog rug'. Yes-lots of hair, but well worth it!

I have 2 white German Shepherds. They're VERY smart, protective, and lovable!! As a child I had a Pomeranian, and she was the most faithful little thing you'd ever see, I had to have her put to sleep 3 yrs ago. I also had a Chow/Husky that was wonderful.

We have two Dalmations. I love them both, they are each very unique in their behavior and temperament.

I think when they cross the bridge, they are 11 and 13 years old, we will most likely look for a small "mutt" type dog. Dalmations are great but next time round it will be a small dog for sure.
