Default Listerine

Okay I got one. And it works. Just don't be to close sometimes you get a little reaction. If you horse tends to rub his tail or is rubbing a simple dose of listerine will usually do the trick. Sometimes 2 application but will clear it up and stop the intruders.

I have also seen my wife use it on the brushed in a diluted bucket so many people just pick up a brush out of your groom box if you don't keep it under lock and key.

Hope that helps.

Neat! Is it because the horse doesn't care for the smell of Listerine?

Hmmm, I wonder the new marketing scheme for the yokels at Listerine. "Not only does it freshen your breath but you can do double duty by keeping your horses from itching!!" But I will have to try that, I used to go nuts trying to fix that.

I use baby oil and Listerine mixed together in a spray bottle to cure rain rot. It works fabulously!
