Lets get a few things straight!
First of all I was not offended angry or anything like that. I just spoke my mind.
Second I had no intention to offend you. I think you are doing the best you can - and it is a good thing that people still are interested in training horses.. And I recognize that there is a certain advantage to be "certified". I am glad that I am not training horses for a living any more - it is tough these days and might not get better soon. Well, breeding horses ain't much better.
I have to admit that I have certain problems with the "gurus". The problem I have is, that to me it is more about marketing (and money) than horses - and people dealing with horses. I am sure you will object.
Let me give you a little example. Many years ago there was a championship dressage rider by the name Liselotte Linsenhoff in Germany. She ran a three day clinic every year for young dressage riders - FOR FREE. Even the horses were boarded for free. And since I once had the chance to attend, I can assure you this lady knew what the heck she was talking about.
Again, this is not about you guys, LazyJD or Legacytraining. I wish you all the best. And if you want to progress a little more, check on the stuff Ltc4h recommends - she knows a heck a lot more about this than I do.
Oh, self promotion. You know, I think I am actually past that - just want to make sure I am not taken for some redneck in AZ.
Good luck and have a good one!
