Question How To Deal And Train A Spooky Bucking Horse?

I love my horse more than anything and i would never sell her but she does have a few problems.Ill List Them Below:

She Spooks At Many Things.
She Sometimes bucks when she doesnt get her way.
Can Be Barn Sour Sometimes.
Shes Not Sensitive To The Bit...At All
Last but not least shes pushy.

Wink Some help

Hey, I have had problems like this with a paint before, have you tried desensatizing her? My mare would buck a lot, especially when I asked her to speed up. What you need to do is push her forward, at least try that. Be able to tell when she's about to buck, like the little signs, Is she tensing? Ears back? Backing up? Things like that. When that happens, take her in a few wide circles at a walk to calm her down, or, a few tight circles, and she'll get the hint. If there are things that she spooks at, you MUST introduce the problem to her. Flimsy colorful lawnchair giving her the creeps? Walk her around it and let her smell it and touch it. I took a plastic bag and tied it to a crop, and touched my horse all over with it. When she stop flinching, I would reward her by removing the pressure that the bag caused her, and some praise. I used to have a pony who was real tough on the bit, make sure you use body language to help your horse understand what you want, you might need a harsher bit.

Did I miss anything? I'm not a pro, but this is just my experience ^_^

Let me know if it helps!

Maybe it would help if you did a bit of ground work with her to establish your relationship and help her to understand who's in charge! Monty Roberts is very good but you could also check out GaWaNi - pony Boy. I watched his DVD 'Horse follow closely' and found it really interesting. Good luck with your horse.
