Haha aww poor guy!
Here are some funny things that have happened with my horse, jolly & his bud georgie-
•Bob was throwing hay over the fence for evening feed & it landed on Georgie's bum! So Georgie walked around with hay on his bum for about ten mins, while all the other horses were following him trying to get some off.Jolly jumped up & went onto Georgie's back & started eating! It was so funny..
•Beware, don't wear hats around Jolly! He will take them off...then take off bolting! We still don't know why but if you wear a hat he will quickly snatch your hat & run off into the sunset with it.Well when Donnie was fixing the paddock fence he looked down & called out to us "Hey theres all these hats over here?!". That was so funny, everyone was laughing so hard

When my colt was very young... just a few months. He was always in my pocket. He thought I was his best buddy. On one occasion I was sitting on a bail of hay, doing something and not paying attention. Next thing I knew he had crawled up into my lap like a big oversized lap dog!

On another occasion he reared up and put his front legs on my shoulder so he could get close and nuzzle my cheek. (Scared the crap outta me, let me tell ya!) We nipped that one in the bud immediatly and I showed him other more productive ways to give "Mom" (or would that be Grandma? -- his Mother was my mare Velvet) loves!

Jackson is full of personality! In the winter he was stalled at night, and he gets bored. Well, we were using a simple key clip to keep his bucket on the wall. Jack figured out how to undo it and every morning it was on the ground. So we used a bungee cord.
He chewed thru it.
I used bailing twine,...chewed thru it.
I used a lead rope knotted about 4 times,...untied it.
Double ended brass clip,...broke it in half.
Finally I went and bought a brass lock for it, and added another key to my keychain.lol.

I had a morgan that some how got out of his stall all the time. My dad had built the whole barn out of reclaimed dairy farm wood.

I didn't think much of it at the time, but now I look back and I am impressed.

But back to the story. My mare would somehow pull the clasp of of the slidding bolt and get out. She wouldn't go far, she wanted to go down to the end stall and visit old Penny my sisters quarter mare.

It was funny my dad and I still to this day can not figure out how she got out, we tried a pintle clip and a few other variations.. but darn if she didn't figure them all out within a weeks time.

So we finally had to use a heavy duty pin and clip to keep her in.. she was crumpy and no pleasure to ride for about 2 weeks after she figured out she couldn't get out and Roam Free.

Hey I want to break into song... Roam Free.. As free as the wind blows... (isnt that a song)

wait that dates me doesn't it.. bummer.
