Oh my, he is fond of rolling isn't he? We had a HUGE pasture (600 acres) and most of the horses didn't get that dirty! LOL He just looks like one big huge fuzz ball (said in a nice way ). I can't wait to see how handsome he will be when he sheds out.

He's cute! I used to have a chestnut ottb (off track thoroughbred) who DESPISED being dirty. She NEVER rolled if she could keep from it. And the results were she was always verrrry shiny and squeaky-clean! On the other hand, I have alot of horses who just LOVE getting dirty. In the summer, EVERY-single-sunny-day my stallion will roll in one of our smaller ponds that is mainly just mud. When he comes out he is no longer black and white, but black and really dark brown lol!

I used to ride this arab cross pony (I'm short lol) & everytime it just rained she would avoid every puddle in sight.
She would jump..then stop..the tip toe over the puddle

But Jolly has been a mud bug since he was only a couple weeks old!

& I happen to look & he didnt have his sock so I asked her where it went lol & she said "Oh he was laying in the mud so the mud covered it up"
