It's Jolly's first birthday today!
I made him a horse-treat cake haha
I've known him since he was about five months..& now he's year!
It's amazing how much he's changed:
he used to be a skinny little guy-now he's "beefy" haha
he used to be head shy-now he loves getting scratched on his head!
he used to not want his legs touched-now I can pick them up no problem
I love this little guy so much ♥

Sorry I missed the big day (computer and back have been giving me fits this last week). I cannot believe how big he has gotten! Still a Mud Bug LOL... I can't wait to see the last of the winter coat gone and pics of him all cleaned up. And I bet he cleans up real nice.

You've done such a good job with him! I'm proud of both of you!

I brushed him out today & used a curry to get up most of the winter coat..
He still has some fuzz but he looks amazing
I gave him a sponge bath (he still thinks the hose is pure evil) & I washed him down & he's such a good boy these days.

When I fed him the Apple&Oat cake on his birthday he was so funny.
He brought over a chunk (in his mouth) & dropped it by my mom & my feet..
Was he sharing? haha I will never know :P

I never thought it would take such hard work & so many hours..
But heck! I loved every single minute of it & I wouldnt trade it back for the world!
He's gotten so trusting of my mother & I that he lets us lay next to him while he's laying in the hay. :P

You're so right, having one from young is a lot of work, but it's also so rewarding! I have loved watching Jackson grow up and we have a VERY tight bond! Happy Birthday Jolly!
