Default My new girl

Hey guys!
Sorry- I kind of drifted for a while... And I haven't been on a computer in super long! How are you all doing?

I wanted to post some pics of my new horse Taima (Tai as in tai food E Ma). She's a 2 1/2 year old Quarter Paint. When I went and met her she was about a week away from foundering, her neck and crest were as hard as rocks and if you poked her anywhere you got solid fat. She's been on a diet for about two weeks now and is losing the weight quickly. She'd barely been touched by her old owners but within two weeks of having her she's let me rub her belly, ears, face and she picks up all four feet now. And she lets me ride her around the pasture in a halter and a lead rope. She doesn't know everything but she picks up on it pretty fast!

So here's my girl:

And here's her best buddy. He's a BLM Mustang stallion named Chief. I love him!

Thats all for now. Hope all is well with all of you!

Good for you.
Yes, there can be too much of a good thing. People seem to always think skinny as being neglected.
They are living together are they ?

Katz- Yes, we're very lucky and its going to be rocky for a while... She doesn't like diets.

Appyxlove- Thank you. I agree!

Ltc4H- They live on the same property but not in the same pasture. He's alone and she's with the other horses.

Jenejen- I know. Don't remind me, lol. Oh well. She's worth it.
